Jacky spent the first part of her professional life as a teacher of English as a Foreign Language (TEFL), and later as a teacher trainer, working in schools, language schools, and universities in Spain, Morocco, Portugal, the Czech Republic and Vietnam. She has a BA (Hons) degree in French from the University of Reading and a Post-Graduate Certificate of Education in Teaching English As A Foreign and Second Language from the University of Leicester, UK. In 2002, while in Vietnam, she co-founded The Education Company, one of the first agencies to help send Vietnamese students overseas to study. This company is still in operation, with offices in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, and recruits students for the UK, USA, Canada, Australia and Ireland. With 17 years’ experience of student recruitment, and working closely with school, college and university partners all over the world, Jacky decided to relocate to Valencia in 2019 and start helping Spanish students find study opportunities overseas.

Jacky has UK Masters degrees in TEFL and Education Management and she holds a British Council Certified Award as an education agent, also consulting regularly for different organizations on international education. She speaks fluent French and Portuguese and is now busy improving her Spanish. She believes that the opportunities for students to gain degrees, life experience and new skills overseas have never been better, and she is keen to show Spanish students the best ways of accessing the available resources and realising their dreams.

Michael has extensive teaching and educational management experience in schools in the UK. After qualifying as a teacher at Edge Hill University, he gained additional postgraduate qualifications at the University of Leeds, and at Leeds Beckett University. His managerial experience includes the Headship of a small boarding school.

He developed an interest in international education whilst working at Rossall, a prestigious UK boarding school, and became the Director of School’s Centre for International Students when this was established in 1995. This Centre provides both intensive English language and academic preparation programmes for international students wishing to enter UK Boarding Schools and Colleges. He has worked as an Educational Consultant since 2004 and has assisted hundreds of international students to achieve their goal and gain entry to leading boarding schools. In addition to living in the UK, he has lived in Thailand, Hong Kong, the Netherlands and South Africa. He relocated to Valencia in 2016.

Prijie is an ICEF-certified Agent Counsellor with expertise in further and higher education in the UK, Canada, and the United States. Originally from South Africa, he completed his secondary education at a boarding school in the UK, followed by an undergraduate degree in Urban Planning Studies at Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. He also holds postgraduate qualifications in Education, Destination Management, and Marketing from Bath, Leeds Beckett, and Hong Kong universities respectively.

Following an initial period working as an urban planner in London, England, Prijie re-trained as a teacher of English to non-native speakers and subsequently worked at a state school in Bangkok, Thailand, followed by an international school in Hong Kong. It was while teaching at the latter institution that his remit broadened to include the counselling of senior students preparing for entry to universities both locally and abroad. He continues to derive considerable satisfaction in assisting each and every student on how to best achieve his or her educational goals. He firmly believes that, in a world that is becoming ever more connected, investment in an international education will continue to open both minds and doors and is ideal preparation for life as a successful global citizen.
